How do I adjust DT water level
I have a reef ready 60 cube. It has an acrylic overflow with no adjustments. It is rimless and I have a ton of circulation. The problem is I get water dripping over the sides several times a day. Its always in the same spot and its basically where my flow causes a crest . because it is a 60 cube i can only move my circle ups a couple of inches from left to right. I have room to move them down but my colonies are quite huge and I wind up blasting them. I prefer much more surface agitation than I currently have. but that causes more drips...
I want to lower my water level in the DT. My return control valve adjusts the sump. I opened up the teeth with a dermal and clean them regularly... My overflow ball valve is 90% open. that 10% keeps it quiet. Do I just keep grinding my teeth wider?

Either lower the slots in the overflow more, widen them more, remove the slots completely or reduce the flow from the return pump. Those are you only alterneratives. Depending on the slot arrangement, you more than likely have to much return flow for your overflow and and as such, lowering the flow is likely your best choice.

If lowering teeth did nothing, you have it set up wrong.
I'm guessing your return control valve is regulating flow, when you want the teeth doing such. |

Well my return has a glass overlow wall behind the teeth so I am sure that would explain why lowering the teeth did nothing. I also have lower teeth that may have aragonite built up and slowing that flow.
My return valve is wide open. I'll try closing that a bit..

What setup? Bean animal, herbie, durso?
It might be as simple as lowering the emergency line.
