is this juvi aiptasia? if so, it's the 2nd thing in my tank, after cheato.

this is a slightly better pic... it's tiny, like barely 1 cm

but it can move 1 cm in like 10 seconds

Not aptasia....they can move but not in the sense you are taking about.

Be very cautious of hitchhikers.
The free stuff can be bad for you tank.
I only put in what I know and want....no surprises...

Hard to tell from the picture. Not a feather duster, probably not a pest anemone. My money would be on a hydroid.

I think novice reefers get way too panicked over hitchhikers. I would never start a tank with dry rock ...... how dull! Part of the fun, for me at least, is the variety of small animals that emerge from the live rock.
