Questions on Adding Fish
I am new to the hobby and wanted to get some advice. I have a 220 gallon reef tank that is new and has cycled. I also have a 150 gallon sump. I use an Apex to fo a AWC each day with 5 gallons. All my perimters are good although PH is a little low (7.8). I currently have a powder blue tang, Naso Tang, Kole Tang, convict tang, zebra eel and a red tail trigger. I would like to add two more tangs and a Blue Throat Trigger. Currently the convict and blue battle a little and the convict stares face-to-face with the zebra when he coms out but does not attack. The trigger is 6 inches and is peaceful. Am I asking for trouble or is it doable for additional tangs and a trigger.

I recommend taking out the Naso and you might could add a small tang, like a purple. I don't adding a Bluethroat to a tank that already has the same species. You might could do a Humu or Niger Trigger, if you wanted one, but if it was me I would be content with the 1 trigger and build around the Tangs and Trigger with smaller fish.

The Naso is actually the nicest of the bunch. He gets stressed easily and blotches white. My worry is really with the Powder Blue and to a lesser degree the convict. The Powder blue actually attacked a new large watchman goby by biting his tail. He took off like a bat out of hell into a cave and dug a hole. I have not seen him since. If he would attack a goby then will he attack new smaller fish or new tangs.
