What size light for my tank?
Hi All,
I know I'm a noobie...and yes I have searched the forums. What size or how many lights for my 80gallon tank (32x24x24)? I want something that will grow with me to add SPS as some point. I'm still deciding between AI Hydra HD's and Radion XR Pro's... The question is more about how many... Example: 1 x AI Hydra 26HD, 2 x AI Hydra 26HD's or 1 x AI Hydra HD 52 Example: 1 x Radion XR15W Pro G4, 2 x Radion XR15W's Pro G4 or 1 x Radion XR30W G4 Pro |

At 32" length, you will need 2x lights no matter what brand. I run 2x Hydra26 on my 48x24x24 but I only have nems, and softies, (and fish). I only run peak of 60% as well.
I am sure others will chime in on needs for SPS and LPS
