Hanna Checker for Alk. dkH or PPM
Hi folks,
i would like to purchase the Hanna Checker but then realized they have 2 types for Alk, dkH and PPM. which one is more acurate and easier to use? thanks for your input. |

I don't believe either is more accurate..
One "may" require you to do a simple math conversion to get to the units you are used to using.. If "easy" is your goal then get the one that reports in the units you want and does not require any conversion.. (the unit does it internally).. I believe that one is typically more expensive as they are making it "easier" for most hence the slightly higher cost for that "service" they are providing you with..

dKH if you are going to measure, dose, and calculate with that unit of measurement. PPM if you choose to use that unit of measurement.
Don't matter either way.
