Found 2 little crabs in my new scroll coral
When dipping my scroll coral i notice 2 little green crabs that had little burrows in my new scroll coral. After realizing the dip wasn’t hurting them I just went in with a needle and stabbed both of them. Did I do the right thing?

They looked like mini emerald crabs with orange tips on their legs

Hard to say without a picture of the crabs they could have been hermits but i guess we shall never know.

Even though they're gone you might want to compare what you had to some Gall crabs online for future reference.

They might have been beneficial crabs that inhibit SPS corals. They are mainly found on maricultred or wild acropora colonies but can also be found on montis and even stylos and seriatos.
