Lighting for a Res Sea Reefer 350

Hello I am setting up a Red Sea reefer 350 and need some help on choosing lighting. I wanted some opinions and suggestions as to pros and cons for my options. The tank is 47 inches long. 21 inches wide and 20 inches height. Tank will be SPS dominated bare bottom. Here are my 2 options I am looking into.

ecotech XR30 Radion gen4 pro

OR

ATI powermodule T5/LED 36 inch (4) T5 39 watt bulbs

I think the 8 bulb ATI led powermodule will be overkill for a 21 wide tank. The 4 bulb 36 inch powermodule measures 13 inches. What do you guys think and suggest. Any tips will be appreciated and Thank you.

Would you get 1 or 2 Radions?

I think the LEDs on the G4 are much better than on the ATI but the ATI will give you less shadowing because of the T5s. IMO, you can't go wrong with either.

Thanks man I was planning on running the diffusers on the XR30 to help with showdowing but been doing a lot of research and so many mixed threads where LED can’t grow sps and so so lol.

Another option is the geismann aurora 36 inch fixture with 4 39 watt T-5’s. Would a fixture like that be enough to light my tank foot print

Yes, it will be slightly darker on the edges though, but not extremely noticeable.
That or the ati would be my choice.

Thanks. Or would it be worth it to spend couple extra hundred and get a 48 inch fixture. $450 more

Unfortunately, no matter which light you purchase, you'll always have that "what if" feeling. For years, I've used my T5 only Powermodule with good success but I always have that "what if" feeling if I went to Radions.

Yea man such a tough decision been doing research for couple months now and not set. Do the powermodule or aurora fixture give decent shimmer. I wish I could go MH but in small basement it will roast the place. Wife’s memory of one MH tank I had is still stuck in her mind lol

Aquatic Life Hybrid? Mounting for your Radions and the ability to add a third easily and 4 T5 to blend and cover shading....Best of both worlds. Probably go with the 48" unit as well.

I second that. It sounds like you really want the T5 but are stuck on radions, both great choices. I would try out the aquatic life hybrid, 36" unit with 2 or 3 xr15s.

If you go with T5s in any capacity, I’d go for the 48” 54 watt fixtures over the 36” 39 watt fixtures for your size tank.
