Tank Mate Suggestions
Hey RC, I have had my new tank setup for exactly 3 months now, It currently has a Gladiator Clownfish Pair, a variety of 6 snails, and a blood red fire shrimp. I plan on adding a new fish here soon, as i have been going very slow with my tank. What fish would you suggest for my tank, which is 37 gallons (basically a extra tall standard 30 gallon), with a 10 gallon sump and skimmer. I have been eyeing fish like the smaller Wrasse's and Dwarf Angels like the Flame Angel and Yellow Wrasse. What do you think will get along well my clownfish pair and be comfortable in a smaller tank like mine? Im looking for lots of color and movement mainly. Also soon I want to add some corals, mainly interested in LPS, specifically euphyllia. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

For color, try a royal gramma or yellow watchman. Cherub angel for pygmy, flame will get too big

I agree, you will have aggression issues with any of the Angels, your tank isn't big enough. Most of the Flasher Wrasses will be fine but again your tank is too small for most of the Fairy Wrasses. Firefish would be nice, as would many of the Gobys.

The Cherubfish is really the only option. There are other pygmy angels but they are super aggressive (ie Flameback Angel). I tried a Flame Angel in my old 36 and it was nothing but trouble. I have since upgraded to a 90 and will probably give a coral beauty a shot.
