Aberrant/Hybrid Algae Blenny??
So awhile ago a customer came in and donated what appeared to be a very strangely colored lawnmower blenny (Salarias fasciatus). I took picture while acclimating and waited a two months to see if his colors would change with diet/habitat etc. But he has remained a pretty consistent yellow! So at this point is he considered an Abberrant Coloration? Is he maybe some sort of hybird? I've been trying to get better pictures but he is pretty fast! The very bottom pic is the darkest his coloration has been and is a stress pic from when the wrasse was bothering him.

Not an hybrid or a color morph. Just a regular molly miller blenny.

Geeze I thought I had combed through all of the articles in fishbase under their genus but had no idea about the entire Scartella species? And so close in looks to Salarias? Can't wait to spend 4 more years studying biology only to figure out I know NOTHING
