overflow plastic size
i'm getting ready to build a Bean animal overflow and am wondering about the dimensions. I plan to put box inside the tank at the end rather than the back.
How tall and how far from the glass should it be? I will be using 1" slip bulkheads |

The best info I can give is buy all the plumbing parts/bulkheads/elbows,etc.. and mock it up to make sure there is enough room for the specific parts you are using.. The parts are pretty standardized but just to make sure...
In general something about 4" x 4" "should" be ok but mock it up first..and the top lip of the box should be right around the bottom of the trim (assuming a rimmed tank) so that the water line doesn't show.. Internal overflow box bean right?
