Inline aquarium heater
Probably should've asked before I bought it but whatever. Has anyone ever used or currently using an inline aquarium heater? If so what are your thoughts on it. Does it work great, horrible, something in between or what? I'll be installing this probably over the next couple days to see how it works. Of course I'll have my main ready in case something goes awry... Just had a tough time getting a heater in my 10g sump and I'm over the heater in my DT. Anyway I found this on EBay and figured I'd give it a shot.

They are likely are not as efficient as a submersible heater as some heat will be lost to the outside air through the wall of the heater..
They would also be a restriction in the plumbing system and likely require a bit more pumping power to be equal to a comparable system without one.. These are both pretty darn minor though.. I can't comment on their quality or reliability or anything else as I've never used that brand (whatever brand that is)
