One last fish / shy foxface friend
I'm pretty happy with my 90 reef tank.. I plan to add more coral in the future.. but happy fish wise.. but I have a very very shy/timid fox face.. I've read that sometimes they do better if they have a buddy so to speak.. any my fox face is the only fish without a buddy.. so I'm looking for recommendations for that..
I am planning on adding a copper band butterfly fish.. or matted file fish (got some aptasia becoming a bit of a problem.. Anyways.. currently in the tank are 2 osc clownfish (paired) 2 bangii cardinal fish (paired) Purple tang Scopas tang (they hang together) Female yellow watchman goby and her pistol shrimp Lawnmower blenny Female scooter blenny (male disappeared months ago :-( Will be getting another) Long nose hawk fish Male and female Mandarin pair (both only an inch long and both living in the fuge) And about a dozen freshwater guppies that I acclimated for my girlfriend.. I have a 4 foot 90 display and 49 gallon xenia fuge with an upflow ats.. 100 to 120 lbs of rock on display and 120 to 150 lbs rock in the fuge I plan on buying a male scooter again when I find one... And a coperband or file fish in the near future as well... No idea if the foxface will buddy up with either the copper or filefish... But I would really like to find a friend for him.. the fox face is about 4.5 inches long or so... by far biggest fish on my tank.. and quite stunning to watch (from a distance) When I walk up to the tank.. even at feeding time... it goes full camo and hides till I walk in the other room.. fish has been thriving other than that since I brought it home 2 or 4 months ago Sent from my SM-G930VL using Tapatalk |
