Aquarium Room Flooring
I wasn't quite sure where to put this one, so I'll try here.
I have an unfinished concrete floor that I want to finish before putting a large reef and a large freshwater tank + associated equipment on top of. After lots of research, I was absolutely positive I was going to go with this new luxury vinyl plank/tile stuff. 100% warerproof, durable, easy to install, great warranty, UV protection, etc. I had this thought today though: I will have 2 100+ gallon tanks + 2 sumps + a large (100+ gallon) remote fuge + eventual frag/quarantine tanks sitting on this floor. They say to leave an expansion gap at the edges of the floor. With this much weight spread across so much of the floor, will it be able to expand and contract properly? I don't want to spend this much time and money on a floor that's going to destroy itself when the temperature changes.

A question best asked of the floor manufacturers..
I would just about guarantee though that its not an issue at all.. there is still plenty of flooring open and able to expand/contract..

^^^Yes^^^ That stuff is pretty much indestructible, and couldn't much easier to install
