Tank Stand

I just purchased a Deep Blue 65 Gallon reef tank, that is 24" tall.

I'm looking for a stand that is 34" or 36" tall

Everything I see online without having to DIY my own is under 30"

Any other suggestions before I start a DIY stand ?

Nope. Even with minimal skills you can build a stand that will outlast anything from the tank manufacturers, and can be of whatever dimensions work for you. You can spend way less (a simple stand using 2x material) or you can spend way more (mine is solid cherry with ebony inlay) but in either case, you will have the satisfaction of having built it yourself.

I paid $240 from the LFS plus tax

I wanted rimless, but they didn't have anything that size with a corner over flow.

Closest rank was a 57 Edge, center over flow

You can use furniture/kitchen cabinets,etc... for stands too...
Any "decent quality" furniture or cabinet can hold up a tank without problem..

Avoid ultra cheap MDF type stuff from Target,etc... (Sauder,etc....)

Thank you I made a stand over the weekend it came out beautiful I just have to figure out the doors

I will post pictures once it is completely painted

Current Tank Info: 120 mixed reef with 40b sump, RO 150 skimmer, AI Sol Blue x 2, and a 60g Frag Tank with 100g rubbermaid sump. 2 x Kessil A360w lights, BM curve 5 skimmer
