Canister filter for 12 gal tank?
Can I use a canister filter for my 12 gal tank with one Betta in it. I was looking at the Fluval 106 or is there a canister that's for smaller tanks? I like the canisters because it seems to make the set up cleaner looking. As in, not much shows. I read you can adjust the flow rate down... Thank You! Bill

Welcome to the Hobby! However, most of us can this forum keep saltwater tanks and I believe you want to keep freshwater, or did you mean a salt water Berta?
As for the canister, you can use it but you will want to clean it at least every week - you could do every other week since you only have one fish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank You First29gallon, for the welcome & the info! Alright! I'll go get a canister! I like the clean look of a canister! Oh, yes a fresh water Betta. Interesting didn't even know they had salt water Betta's. I'll go Google it.... Bill
