Question Small pump for a 36 gallon?

Have a maxi jet in my tank, but it was blasting one area to strongly so I switched it's strong white propeller with the weaker black one. Now the flow is smaller, but weaker. So! What I'd like to know is if there's a small pump would would just push gently against my maxi in a 36 gallon tank?

Koralia might be a good choice, they make economical pumps that push wider, gentler flow.

Should I combine two pumps with a 240 koralia nano? Or should I just get a koralia nano 425 and take the maxi out?

Personally, I have been using Aqamai KPS for my 32G and I would purchase again...

I have an mj 1600 in my 29 gallon tank. Try re-orienting the pump so that the gyre that it creates is running across the top, down the opposite side, and back along the bottom thru your coral/live rock. You might find an acceptable setup if you try a few configurations like that.

Ok I'll give it a try and point it up. I was thinking of random patterns though. Do your corals care if they are being pushed in one direction all the time?

I used a Tunze 6040 in my nano when it was running. Now I have 2 of them in a 75 g corner.
