AI Hydra light control

Does anyone know if there is a way to control these lights without using the app/computer controller?
I don't like the fact that these lights are controlled via wifi, and would like a manual controller of some sort.

also, When power goes out, and I have the generator going, the lights won't come on since their is no wifi, due to the outage. So I would like to bypass wifi all together.

are their any other options?

If these are HDs you're talking about that isn't correct at all and if it's not then I apologize because I wouldn't know.

please explain.
Recently my power went out. I hooked my system up to the generator. All worked perfectly. The lights did have power to them, but they never came on until the WI-FI was restored. Is there a way to bypass the wi-fi?

Mine are never connected to wifi unless I connect them. I only have a mobile hotspot and most of the time it is turned off. I don't have an answer as to why they didn't come on with your generator.

ok, so how'd you bypass it? Are yours set up "locally"? Each independent of each other?

I have one parent and two children.
I have mine all tied together via wi-fi. I might have to try and do them locally. That wi-fi issue is very annoying

how do you handle changing light output for photos? Or do you not touch it for that reason? I want an easy and quick way to turn blues off

Honestly i'm horrible at taking photos but if I want to change something it only takes a moment for them to connect and I can change anything I want.

Have you tried just disconnecting your wifi and seeing what happens?

Short answer is “yes”. Long answer depends on your abilities and motivation:-)

Hmmm. I thought (with both the controller and the wifi phone app) when the wifi or connection went down it automatically just uses the last saved settings until connection is restored? That's how I think it worked for me last year (in Miami after Hurricane Irma). No?

With that said, I may not have connected my lights to the generator and not sure I would because of the surging that commonly happens with the generators.

these lights don't come with a controller. It's only controlled via the computer or phone app. unless that's what you are referring to

OK, took all my lights off the wi-fi, and reset everything. When I reset everything and started them back up, I now see where I had the option to hook them up to my home wi-fi, or leave them local. So I now have them locally controlled. I have not killed the power yet, but when I do, I will hook them to the generator and see if they come on as I'd hoped. So there is one issue resolved (if that works)

second issue. This is what bothers me the most. Maybe it's due to me not knowing how to avoid, and maybe it can't be avoided. But it ****es me off.
So let's say you open up the app, you tap on "schedule", it then brings up the screen that shows the schedule, and you can click on manual/auto. When I click on manual, it then allows me to turn blues off and whatever other light color I want off. When I am done doing that, I click back on auto, and it brings all the lights to the desired levels that I set within the schedule mode. Great, that's all swell. Now the **** part........Although I have a schedule set, and it does it's thing, as soon as I click the auto button, all the settings are set to default. So if I want to adjust any color, time ramp, on/off, I have to remember what the settings were at. Redo all settings to get them where they were, and then modify anything I want. Why the hell would it not show you your current settings, and then allow you to slide the sliders up/down one number or whatever you prefer? Wjhy does everything go back to default? Luckily I screen shot my settings so I know what to set it back at.

Funny thing is. I can click on "manual" and it will show me exactly what my current settings are at. Which is what I want in the auto mode. But auto defaults everything and any adjustment that needs to be made also means setting everything back up (color, time, etc)

please tell me im not the only one that this happens to
