NPS tank setup advice?
I have a weird obsession with Sun corals and Dendro. I have 3 types of sun corals, a cup coral, and 2 types of dendros. I made so many mistakes early on trying to care for them, had to frag up a large orange sun coral to save a few polyps. I finally got them trained, or they trained me. I have to feed them daily very heavy with mysis and a turkey baster. I just have a 20 all in one set up with a large rock and egg crate right now. Just easy to feed them that way. No light, they don’t need it and it helps with algae control. No light, no algae.
image.jpg Anyone else ever keep these beauties? How did you set up your tank to handle them? I just dump in the food now, and do a 90% water change when the nutrients get high. I just set it up like frag tank to make care easier. Man someone around here has, or had at least, a killer NPS tank build. I can't find it. I think it was in the tank journals section, but can't be sure. I'd suggest look around to find it, it was quite nice.
