EcoTech Vectra and Neptune Cor owners, please respond
So, my queston is: do you need pvc cement coming off of the fittings? They're supposed to be compression fittings, theoretically not needing it. And, if you cement flex PVC directly to the flanges, it doesn't go so well. It just falls off.
Please weigh in on best way to plumb these. |

You need cement. And if it is falling off you’re not holding the fittings together long enough. The cement slightly expands and sometimes pushes the slip fitting out a tad. The slip fitting they provide is not as big as the standard. Make sure the pipe goes all the way to the bottom. If had both and both are the exact same.

I couldn’t edit my last post— I watched it push out a few times personally on these pipes and you got to push the slip fitting together and hold for 30secs or so.
