Looking For a New powerhead pump
Hello guys, Im looking for a new powerhead for my reefer250 red sea
im current running one mp40wdq , i want try something new i was looking between the nero 5 or xf330 gyre pump or get 2x mp10 vortech i would like your opinion on which one to get

Maybe a new in box 2nd mp 40? I run 2 of them on my 60x32" and they will tackle all your needs.

I'm a fan of the Vortechs only because they are simple & easy to clean. (The gyres are not.)
However, the shaft of the Vortech seems prone to corrosion/rust. But rest assured that Ecotech will gladly sell you a replacement wet side assembly for $80 every year or two. |

This is why I replaced my mp40 with the Nero, got tired or replacing wet sides.
The mp10s used to have a $12 axel assembly option but that's gone now so when these wet sides go I'm going to be looking for something else Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
