What kind of coral is this?
Hello everybody!
About two years ago, I bought a small, pink, donut-like coral from the pet store for 15 bucks. The worker told me that the coral was a pink trumpet coral, and that's what I've called it ever since. The coral has thrived ever since I bought it, and it's gotten slightly bigger and more plump. Recently though, I started doing some research on the corals in my tank and I noticed that the pink trumpets I see online look nothing like the one in my tank. The ones online seem like they are always reproducing and spreading, while mine has stayed a single polyp for the past 2 years. The colors of mine are also different. So I'm wondering... Is this actually a pink trumpet? If not, what is it, and will it spread? Take a look: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cd3J4oMrfHYyjc8A6 |

I'm not sure. It hasn't really grown structurally, even though I feed it all the time. It's about an eighth of the size of the palm of my hand. Is it a little scoly? Is it a Bowerbanki? I don't know. Here's another picture:
