Lighting recomendations
I have a tank I am setting up. Its an elos 120 xl 120mmby80mm by 50 mm deep roughly 4 ft by 2,5 ft wide by 2 ft deep. I want an Led lighting option.
I am looking at a pair of AI Hydra 32 but they are brand new and no reviews. I have looked at the Kessel AP 700 And I have looked at the Viparspectra 160. Vertex Illumia some 15 years old, if it had not died it still did what I bought it for 10 years ago.But you can tell I am out of touch with todays offering, I do not want a T5or MH option. Any suggestions or advice would be most appreciated. |

Really comes down to your budget and desired feature set..
Budget mostly.. Any LED will pay itself off based on bulb/energy costs with t5/MH Both AI and Kessil lights are commonly/highly recommended and have many bells and whistles.. Viparspectra is also recommended for the lower price point but lacks the features/adjustability of the others. If you don't mind spending the money then AI/Kessil/Radions are a better choice in the long run..

For middle of the road (cost wise) but with most of the features, look into Reefbreeders Photon V2/V2+ and Noopsyche K7 Pro IIs.
I know you said no T5s, which is fine, but what about a hybrid fixtures (LEDs and T5s)? |
