Current USA product information

Can anyone please help me out here? I've been looking for product information on the Current USA Gamma 8w UV Sterilizer. Can't find manufacturer recommendations. I will have a 35g hex with about 10-20g in the sump.

What kind of flow rate/turn over do I need to kill algae/bacteria?
What kind of flow rate/turn over do I need to kill protozoans?
What is the maximum tank size recommendation?

To effectively kill protozoan parasites like Amyloodinium or Cryptocaryon you need a throughput of at least 7 times the tank volume per hour. And you will need a much higher wattage, more like something in the range of 250 Watt. And for it to work the tank should be bare bottom and very minimal rockwork, or better none.

An 8 Watt UV is only good to control algae and bacteria blooms.
