Trusting your doser

Hello everyone.

I just picked up a wireless doser which is really cool.

My question.

Do you all trust your dosers and has one ever gone rogue?

I am really nervous at this point to trust it as total disaster would ensue if it went rogue and just started dumping to much of anything in the tank.

Please let me know if anyone has ever had one fail like that.

Thanks!

Things can always fail. If you're dosing under 60ml a day, you can easily split that up and dose 30ml by hand in the morning and evening.

If you have a PH controller, you can tie that in to shut off your dosers after it raises alk by XX.XX amount.

Hello Scrapz.

Thank you for the reply.

Outstanding idea I never even thought of it.

I do have a PH monitor coming.

I will set it up as you stated as a backup in case of catastrophic failure.

Thanks!
