Brown Live Rock
A while back I started to use this algae fix to fix a very bad algae problem. Of course I took the fast and easy way out instead of trying to locate the cause of the algae! I know shame on me. I followed the instructions and my algae problem stopped. So I discontinued using the product. Algae has never come back and I don’t use product any more. But would using this product make the LR brown?
I included a pic of tank but my phone is not taking a accurate picture of the tank and lights make everything look purple which it is not. Any who, would this make the LR brown and if not what would cause the LR to time brown and is is correctable. Thanks. |

Turn you light off and take a picture with your flash. Can't see anything in a purple picture.

It is only the rock, I have no brown algae anywhere else.

I'd take the rock out, make up three buckets of saltwater, matching the salinity and scrub off the algae, dunk in the next bucket, scrub again then rinse in the last bucket then put it back in the tank.
