MP40 Can the flow be turned down to MP10

Just a quick question i was into saltwater quite awhile ago. I am going to try to setup a nano tank and i have a mp40 still. Can you turn down the flow low enough to be like having a mp10 in the tank...

You would have to plug it in and see how the flow is.

No, the lowest I think is still more powerful than the highest mp10 setting, I’ve owned both and it seemed that way...

No. Mp40s run from 1500 gph to 4000gph. Mp10s run from 300 to 1500. Depending on the size of the tank and what you want to keep you might be able to get away with it. A 40 breader with the mp40 at the lowest setting, keeping sps and some soft corals that don’t mind high flow, would probably be best if you want to use the mp40
