Foods most dont consider
Has anyone here used or heard of other using with success foods that are not marketed for aquariums? There is the obvious seafood mixtures but what else are people using? Any unique ways of getting trace?
Also, does anyone know what is actually in reed roids or how to make diy reef roids? I've also heard of ppl spot feeding skimmate, just wanna open this up to anything you really think works well. |

I feed frozen chopped clams from Whole Foods to both my fish and corals. Both are thriving.

Very old school LFS in my area always used pieces of actual lettuce clipped to the glass for tangs I believe. I have never tried or seen the value nor do I believe its super nutritious. Have been doing it for years and hopefully it's only a supplement and not the only source
