3 ai primes too much?

Hey reefers, I have a 65 gal reef currently running 2 ai prime hd 16s. I found a sweet a sweeet deal for an older Ai prime 13hd.. Would 3 Ai primes be overkill for a 65 gal reef? Also can I pair the older ai prime hd with the newer hd 16? Thanks everyone for your help

Every time you get a Led light you seem to need another one. I would say three would be better, I am using two on an IM Lagoon 25.

I see the recommended coverage of the AquaIllumination Prime 16 HD is 24 by 24 inches and the PAR@24-inch is 100. You can use three units. They are dimmable via the mobile app. Just dimming them based on the types of corals you have.
