External Overflows with Synergy Drill Pattern
Hey folks,
I'm looking to get back into reefkeeping with a 150g and an external overflow. I'm looking at a SCA 150g drilled for a Synergy Shadow, but I'm super hesitant to go with the Synergy. What are some alternatives that are pre-drilled for the Synergy hole pattern? Thanks in advance, Joe |

Most off the shelf overflow boxes will have their own unique hole pattern. Your only option is to go custom if you don’t want the Synergy Shadow set up. You can call Exotic Marine Systems. He’s been known to custom retrofit his ghost style overflow boxes to match the Synergy Reef hole patters.

May I ask why you are hesitant to use a Synergy Shadow?
I have one on my 120G, no issues what so ever.
