6100 too strong
i recently purchased a 6100 with 7091...wow what flow...i'm wondering if it is bad to turn down the power rating on the driver to achieve a bit less flow, while pulsing? it isn't completely clear in the directions if this is hazardous...although i think it is...also, is there any consensus on placement? 6' tank at the top of the aquatium in the right corner pointing slightly towards the other opposing corner is how i've postioned the unit...opposite is a sea swirl on a mag 7 pump...200g aquarium acrylic....thanks for any advice is there an online product registration? or just hold my reciept?

The driver needs to be at full power with a controller. You might try aiming to the center of the opposite pane to further diffuse the flow. If you don't have the receipt, the production date is used for warranty.

Try it out for a while I think you will find it is the right size for your tank.
