You should check w/golfish. He probably got rid of his stash, but he had like 50lb bags of the food grade stuff (calcium something, I forgot the name of it) for like $20.00.

Any types of pickling lime that shouldn't be used for reefs?

I've used $100's of lime from the LFS, about 10# of Mrs. Wages and maybe 25# of the stuff I got from Golfish.

LFS stuff... very little dark stuff at the bottom of the bucket

Mrs. Wages... Overall darker in color and leaves some dark residue along with what precipitated out with CO2.

Golfish 50# bags... Even darker than Mrs. Wages but less dark residue at the bottom of the bucket.

I'd use any of them again without hesitation.

I guess if I could get enough people together I might, maybe, doubt it, could get another pallet. If I do, its going to be forty 50 pound bags. I wouldn't even consider it unless they were all sold before I brought home the pallet..

Mark,
If I hadn't started you-know-what and stopped the limewater I could use some more. I still have about 1-1/2 bags left.

I'd be willing to go for a bag or 2. I hope you get enough people, retail kalk is too expensive.

Mark...
I'd be good for two more... I might start using it again.
If you don't want to keep it at the house again you can drop some at my shop in SB, I've got plenty of room.

golfish ... I am going to have to back out of this group buy. I just found a jars of Kent Kalk in my closet. should last me awhile. Sorry if this caused any problems

If you bought it anticipating I would take one bag, I apologize. If you can cancel my order great! If not, I will take it though but I don't really have a need for it for awhile Thanks!

I haven't even started yet so no worries. To be honest I doubt very much it will happen but then that's what I said about the last pallet. I'm kind of shocked people still want it. I figured I kind of flooded the market with the last batch.
