6200 inconsistant?
I have a 6200 that's been operating for about 6 weeks. I don't have a controller yet so it's running 24/7. Sometimes I'll notice the current doesn't seem to be as strong as it can be at other times. If I unplug it and wait a couple hours, when I turn it back on, it seems to be moving much more water than before. Does it need to be shut off occasionally? I was thinking of getting a normal timer and setting it for 3 hours on 2 hours off, until I can get another 6200 and a controller. Is this a good or bad idea?

The timer idea is fine but if it is inconsistent I would suspect that something is hanging it up on occasion, you might want to go through and check that their is no sand or debris, the bush bearing is firmly inserted and the upper bearing is not sticking to the magnet.
