Caulerpa serrulata
I believe this to be Caulerpa serrulata. Thoughts? Seems to grow well under medium lighting. Nothing seems to eat it. I've got a ball of it in a refugium.

Here is the lighting. Four 75W bulbs about 8" above the water.
Here is a side shot of the ball. It is a little cold for shipping. |

Thanks for the info and pics deserve a super thanks!! I'm assuming you have some in your main tank w/ tangs and other potential plant predators when you say nothing appears to eat it?

I've been feeding some to a friend's tank. His tangs and rabbitfish will eat new growth only but not the branches.

Thanks. Took me a while to match up what I have in my refugium with a picture. Wasn't there a thread in this forum showing many different macros?

Found it. Thought this was a sticky at one time. Not sure why I didn't find it yesterday.

I think we are going to try to work this out.. a picture ID thread that is. Takes a bit of work to go around to all the various posters in the past few months who have common algae forms and ask permission to use the pics.

Cool. Don't forget grasses too.
You can use the Caulerpa serrulata picture in this thread if you want.
