Mangrove Pod...Now What?

I found a place that sells Magrove Pod or Seed. After I buy it...what do I do? Do I just plant it in my sand bed the way I plant seed in my garden?

stick the base of the pod in the sand bed and make sure the top is out of the water...then wait for a few months
