whats wrong with my fish?

Hello there good people ,

A month ago I got this new Female Japanese Swallow Tail Angel fish, Really cute and nice. http://www.petsolutions.com/Japanese...-16211-C-.aspx
(not sure if i can give links like this)
However at first it didn't seem to want to eat and I thought He was forced to take the role of Omega among the other fish.

Now he seems a bit more adapted to the enviroment, however is showing a slightly weird and funny behavior.

HE IS EATING AIR BUBBLE !!!!!

The O2 bubble dispurse into much smaller ones, ones they reach the surface, and he violently chases after them and sucks them in.
Or does he really know what the heck he's doing?

I was just wondering , me being a beginner-new-to-the-hobby person (^_^) , if other people have seen such behavior in other angel species

Thanks for listening

Regards
Ralph in Seoul Korea

I don't think it's anything to worry about. Fish will usually chase down anything that moves swiftly, in the hopes that it is a live treat; he'll spit it out if it's not edible. My flame angel doesn't do this bubble eating thing, but my clown and damsel both do.

Nope, where did you get that idea (was it the photo in the gallery)? I just lived there for a short while for med school rotations & considered doing my residency there.

Pandora, Yes it was that picture form your
gallery. Are you a Psychiatrist, that's great !!!
I wish I had a friend like you (^_^)

By the way I meant to ask you something.
I was greatly starttled by some pictures from your
website. I saw in the diseases section I saw pictures
of "Fishtank Granuloma" on the arm of a reef-keeper.
This was most unsettling and I want to ask you how
big the change is for a person to get this ???

You can also reach me at msn Messenger ID = honsbeek3@hotmail.com

Regards
Ralph
