Comments on closed loop plan?
![]() Thats what I am planning on doing for my 120g. The tank is being made by a company in California (forgot the name). It is a standard 4'x2'x2'. Anyways, it is a 2" intake for the Sequence Dart with 6 1" outputs. The tank will be BB, so no worries about too much flow. See any problems? Is this drawing concise enough for a tank manufacturer to not mess up? I will be adding dimensions to the overflow box location. |

I'm having second thoughts about the CL in my 120. I don't think the Dart will provide enough flow for me, even after my 2 eductors powered by a PW 150-PS.
I really would hate to have to add a Tunze or two. I'm almost considering getting a bigger higher flow pump -- although electricity consumption is the downer. I think it looks really good. You just have to figure out the best flow for the system, what gets the detrius to the overflow and in places where it can easily be reached for siphoning. |

Well, I'm adding 2 Seio 820's to supplement the flow as well as atleast 2 Maxi-jet 1200 in/behind the rock. My return will be 500 GPH?
This is about 46x turnover. Not too bad and I can always add another Seio. |

I'd do the Seio 1500's... I have 3 820's in my 75 and it is totally not close to being enough flow.
Especially if your going to go BB... I might even look at the 2600's http://reeftanksupply.com/index.php?cPath=39_77 |
