odd clown behavior.
ok, so all three of my clowns I believe are testing out the waters as far as rubbing on everything they see, the toadstool is number one in everyones book, but one of the clows every now and then will go over to a sponge that I have growing on a rock near the toadstool and rub on it then put a piece of it in his mouth and almost suck on it, he'll kinda squirm while doing this but then get completely still almost like he;s dead, then just swim off. Any suggestions why?

I've learned there is nothing "normal" about a clowns behavior...

Look again at the zoanthids. I can understand why he is "nursing" on them!

It was a joke. Those zoanthids are referred to as "gorilla nipples" by some folks.

Yea but it is kind of cool that they have personality. I have 2 clowns and they pretty much just hang out in the same area of my tank.

this one just started to do this today, and I've had him for 7 months prolly. So odd, why wont he go play in the anemone in stead of sucking off a sponge. Sigh.
