Question need a reef fish that eats soft corals

I have a 65 gallon with lps, a few sps, and some softies that have really started to overgrow the tank. The mushrooms seem to be taking over!

Currently I have a yellow tang, 2 small percs, a six line wrasse and a royal gramma. Any other fish I should try that might eat the mushrooms... Yeah, I realize I would be introducing a fish that is not reef safe, but I really have no other choice.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated!

Kirk

Make frags and sell or trade!

Or, there are wrasses that eat corals. Not sure what else eats them.

I had a Pearlscale Butterfly that ate every mushroom in my tank. The fish was prettier than the mushroooms, so I didn't mind. It also ate the tentacles off button polyps.

Just snip the heads off with a pair of sissors, then if it comes back, as some will, snip the new head off.

I would second frag them and sell them.
