dead lion... now a dead bamboo too

i was asking people where what could have happened to my lion
fish that was happily chasing damsels... it died after 3 hrs...
(had it for 3 months)

water parameters are all normal...

i also noticed that my bamboo shark had red marks all over
its body...

now... it died...

could it be possible that the two fought and that the toxins from the lion just acted now?

No, it sounds like an infection on the shark that started in response to some factor. Your tank is quite small, so it could have injured itself very easily. Toxins would have acted much sooner.

No offence but why do you have a shark in a tank that small? I wonder if the lion stung the bamboo somehow, maybe after it died?

Most likely a parasitic infection, which can be caused by many things. Are these red marks spots? or open sores? However the fact that ur lion died really makes me think it is in ur water levels. Are you over feeding? good luck...sorry for your loss

over feeding... nope
everything else is moving around well and good...

the bamboo is just 8 inches i think... if it would have grown to
around 12-14 inches, i would transfer it to the pond.
