Equipment ID Part 1

ok, just started sorting through a lot of this stuff that i got with my setup... there were 4 powerheads, 2 had major corrosion on the plugs, so they're being tossed for safety...

the other 2 are "POWERHEAD 201" and work

i also have 2 pumps Rio 2100 25w each.

Is this stuff any good? Or should I just toss/sell/trade it?

oh, and do they make replacement clear cups/canisters for the Ro/Di systems? I have a coralife 2 stage one... if it's more than 50 each i'm just gonna get rid of it, the new ones are like 95 on ebay.

thanks guys! more to come!

You can get the replacement canisters (clear) at some of the online vendors. BuckeyeFieldSupply.com might carry them.

The pumps and powerheads are likely fine. Maybe the "201" means it's a Hagen. Lots of people hate Rio pumps, though.

Yes Rio pumps have a pretty bad rep but I would keep them. It always good to have a spare pump around especially for water changes. As for the canister you can get them here http://www.aquaticreefsystems.com/Aq...ccessories.htm Only 19.99$
