Schuran media in a MTC ProCal?

Has anyone tried running the large granule Schuran calcium media: http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/...12537/cid/3281 in a MTC ProCal reactor? http://www.marinetechnical.com/page12.html

After reading about this larger sized media, it seems to make sense that it is the perfect medium for Ca reactors. No phosphate, made from coral skeletons so it contains necessary trace elements, and large particle size which prevents clogging.

I'm about to order a MTC ProCal reactor, and I'm now trying to figure out which media to use. The difference with this media is that it needs a lower pH of 6.2 to 6.5 to dissolve.
