Too much Light
I have a 125 gal pentagon and I have 3 - 250 watt mh on 3 pfo hqi ballast with 2 13K aqualine and 1 20K radium. Is this too much light for my size of tank or when I ge new sps I just need to put them on the bottom and bring them up sloly. Thanks in advance.

No that is not too much light.
A good rule of thumb is to always start corals at the bottom and let them acclimate for a few days though. Sean

Not too much IMO as long as there are no heat issues. How well the SPS does will depend on how much light your source has over them and for how long. Three little halides are not going to stack up to the power of the sun, so there is no problem there IMO, but starting them lower in the tank might not hurt if they have been at the LFS or someone elses tank with lower light levels.

just enough. 6 w/ gallon. You could even throw in some Actinic PCs for a few more watts/gal and a nighttime effect (blacklight effect)
