Glass or Plastic

Which type of tank do you prefer Glass or plastic and why?

I like both! You really just have to list your pros and cons about each and make your decision from there. Both are excellent and durable. I had a 75 gallon glass, it was awesome, however, the scratches at the bottom from rocks were annoying and algae would actually start to build up in the cracks. Also, the tank was incredibly heavy. However, the clarity was great and it worked well for me at the time. Now, I'm considering a larger tank, 240 gallon, and I'm chosing acrylic because it's a lot lighter and honestly, I don't know how I would be able to get a glass tank in my house of that size without a fork lift! Scratches can be buffed out of acrylic and it has less temperature fluctuation in it.

But like I said, I like both and really, you can't go wrong with either one.
