carbon in a phosban reactor?

What type of carbon do you guys use in your phosban reactors?

I have another phosban reactor I'm thinking of using for carbon only....

doesn't that cause the carbon to slowly beakdown and escape into the tank? thought I read that somewhere.

I run carbon in a TLF 150. The type does matter. I use Black Diamond right now, but it is a bit of a pain. Some of it sinks, some floats. In a reactor, it all has to sink. I have to put it in a bowl of water, separate it and use just the stuff that sinks.
