sand type for eel?
Im currently setting up an aquarium for my snowflake eel. I was wondering if CaribSea Arag-Alive Special Grade Reef Sand or Bahamas Oolite was a good choice in sand, Carib sea also makes a fiji pink. I found the 2 above sand on sale and was wondering if either would be a good choice. I dont want to post the link, not sure if its allowed. Also if I do purchase this sand, the tank is still being built therefore it may be a week to a ointh before I can get it into the tank, how bad is this for the sand to sit
thanks. |

Any of those should be fine. I used Caribsea Aragamax Sand when I had my Banded Moray.

I don't use those brands, but any type of aragonite or oolite (basically the same thing) shouldn't have a shelf life.
