Ph problem
I was wondering if anyone could help me with my ph problem. My ph is constantly dropping. I have to add reef buffer almost every day just to keep it at 8.2 if I leave it alone for 2 days it drops easily to 7.8. I have a 40 gallon tank with canaster filter, prism skimmer. I add trace elements on a regular basis, and purple up since all coraline had died off on my 30 lbs of LR. Algae has been slowly returning, but Ph still tends to be a problem.

Are you measuring your pH first thing in the morning, or at the end of the day?
