Plumbing Skimmer to Overflow
What is the best way to plumb a skimmer directly to an overflow. I have a RR Oceanic 180 gallon and a Euroreef recirculating skimmer that I wanted to plumb directly to the overflow. I planned on using a "T" off of the overflow and then connecting a ball valve inline to regulate the incomming flow to the skimmer. I am using a Velocity T4 return pump and dual Mega-Overflows. I'm apprehensive about using the entire overflow on one side to the skimmer for I only want about 200 GPH going through the skimmer. I also thought that the oveflows would not be able to keep up with the T4 if one side were restricted to 200 gph. Sound right? Thanks in advance for any advice!!

I have a T off one of my overflow lines, then a ball valve, then my skimmer. I have a 125 with an Iwaki (MD30RXT) return pump. I think that as long as the ball valve is after the T (not in-line, but on the teed line) you'll still get plenty of flow through the overflow line.
