scarlet shrimp antennae missing?

my mom called me and told me one of our cleaners is missing its antennae...I asked her if it was a molt, but she said it wasn't...is this normal?

do they shed them to grow them back bigger?

or did something eat them?

Noobie

It will eventually regrow, as long as the shrimp is healthy. Each time they molt, they are able to regenerate most any lost appendages.
