Sump Equipment

Im in the process of setting up a 29 gal with a 20L sump/fuge. Im trying to decide what the best return pump and skimmer would be. Im trying to decide between the AquaC Urchin, or the Coralife superskimmer (65 gal). I would go with the Turboflotor, but since i have a smaller system, i feel i can get away with a cheaper skimmer.... but im still undecided. As for the return pump im deciding between the quiet one 1200 and the mag 2... im leaning towards the quiet one (it will need to pump upwards about 3'). Anyway Im new to this hobby so if im way off set me straight . Thanks!

I'm assuming your sump will be directly under your tank correct?

If that's the case, I'd probably look at a Mag 5 for the return. Depending on how much head, 90's included and how many outlets you have on the return, I bet you'll only be pushing about 300 ghp at most back into the tank.

I have a 20 gal set up that I run a CSS 65 on and I think it does a pretty good job on that tank.
