Whats new 2006....Actinic Only/20k MH

I run all my tanks now under actinic 420nm PC and 20k MH on reef.

all the inhabitants love the new change.

Fish love it the most, behavior changes dramatically.

This is the natural lighting spectrum in the wild.

Why do we always run a 10k blasting?

list the reasons to go all actinic.... besides that it looks cool

i personally think 20k's are too blue already and they do not need actinic supplement.

I personally don't like the look of a blue blue tank. I'd rather have a good quality 10K. Not to mention the growth is a big difference. If a bulb manufacturer could come out with a nice 14K with par equivalent to a 10K, they would be rich!
